How do you pray for someone to be healed, whilst at the same time deal with the reality of them being terminally ill?
How do you strike a balance between preparing for the worst and hoping for the best?
When do you stop praying for healing and start praying for the journey home?Or do you just pray for both despite those two things being mutually exclusive?
I have written another prayer letter, which makes nearly three during my year on Relay (nearly because I have actually finished Relay now).
This will be the last prayer letter I write as a Relay worker, but I think it’s good practice to write prayer letters (albeit sporadically), so I’m going to keep doing so. They will of course go up on my blog and as always if you would like one to be mailed to you by the lovely royal mail then you just need to give me an address to send one too and I will try to remember.
July prayer letter
I have been doing Relay for over 6 months now, and I have finally written my second prayer letter. I should probably update people on what I’m doing more often than that…
Anyway, you can download a copy here:
Or if you would like a hard copy, drop me an e-mail with your address and I will get one posted out to you just as soon as I have them printed off (should be printed and ready by the end of this week).
Update: I just realised I made the pdf wrong initially so it wasn’t A4, which is a problem if you wanted to print it! I have fixed it now though, same link.
