Elftor

A friend pointed this out to me, and it amused me a great deal:

These three panels are the start of an Elftor comic strip.

This comes at a time when I’m wrestling with some JavaScript, trying to make a web application work properly in Internet Explorer. Web designing (and coding in general) can be rather frustrating at times!

Dilbert

I read the daily Dilbery strip, and the strength of the humour varies from day to day. Yesterdays strip was quite possibly my favourite one ever, so I feel the need to post it here, for posterity…

Kompressor

I was reminded recently of Kompressor, a German techno group created by Andreas K.

Everyone should listen to Kompressor, because they’re just so darn funny! You can download loads of Kompressor tracks from their website, www.kompressormusic.com/mp3/, but sadly you can’t buy CDs anymore as they ceased to be in December 2005.

I thoroughly recommend “Kompressor does not dance” and “K is for Kompressor

Workers flee explosive chips

This reminded me of a rather good scene from Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, where a large sea mine is discovered and detonated on the beach, in something of an amusing fashion. I’m not going to say watch it for that scene, because the film is far too excellent for that to be it’s crowning moment. You should definately watch it though!
